Exterior
Trim, fascia, eaves and soffits
The parts of an exterior that fail first, because they take the most weather.
Fascia and eaves take sun and run-off in a way a wall does not, so they chalk and peel while the body still looks fine. Doing them on their own is a legitimate job and buys years before a full repaint.
Usually part of a larger job — see exterior house painting, or ask for a free estimate. For one room, a photo is usually enough.
