Serving Merced, Atwater and the Central Valley
What We Paint
Interior and exterior painting, preparation and repair, and commercial work — grouped by where the job is, with preparation counted as work rather than assumed.
Whatever you need off this list, the estimate is free — and most weeks we can start within the week. For a single room, a photo is enough: no appointment, and nobody coming to the house.
Interior
15 services
Walls, ceilings, trim, cabinets and everything that gets lived with.
- Interior house painting Most requested Whole-home interior repainting in Merced, Atwater and across the valley. Walls, ceilings, trim and doors — and you can stay in the house while it happens.
- Interior walls and ceilings Walls and ceilings together, because a fresh wall makes an old ceiling look worse.
- Trim, baseboards and crown molding Trim in a harder finish than the walls, so it survives being cleaned.
- Interior doors and frames Doors sprayed where possible — brush marks on a flat door panel never stop showing.
- Kitchen cabinets Cabinet doors sprayed with a fine-finish setup, not brushed. The difference is visible from across the room.
- Bathroom vanities Same fine-finish spray as kitchen cabinets, and it wants a moisture-tolerant product.
- Built-ins, bookcases and mantels Built-ins are furniture that happens to be attached to the wall, and want a furniture finish.
- Stairs, railings and banisters A handrail is the most-touched painted surface in a house.
- Ceilings only Just the ceilings, when the walls are fine and the ceilings have gone yellow.
- Popcorn ceiling removal Scraped, re-textured and painted. The messiest job in the house, done with the mess contained.
- Wallpaper removal Stripped, the adhesive washed off, and the wall skimmed before any paint.
- Interior wood staining and varnish Stain shows everything underneath it, so the sanding is the job.
- Accent walls One wall, done properly — which mostly means a clean line where it meets the others.
- Garage interiors A garage wants a floor-to-ceiling clean first, because it has never had one.
- Closets and pantries Small, awkward, and usually skipped — which is why they date the rest of the room.
Exterior
11 services
Trim, doors, decks, fences and iron.
- Exterior house painting Most requested Full exterior repainting across Merced and Stanislaus counties. Three to four days, and most of that is the preparation that decides how long it lasts.
- Trim, fascia, eaves and soffits The parts of an exterior that fail first, because they take the most weather.
- Exterior doors Hung doors painted in place, and the edges are what people forget.
- Front door refinishing or staining The first thing anyone touches. A day of work that changes how the whole front of the house reads.
- Garage doors Big, flat, and facing the street — the largest single surface most houses show.
- Shutters Taken down and sprayed where they can be, painted in place where they cannot.
- Decks, staining and sealing Stripped, sanded and sealed. A deck in this climate needs it every few years or the boards go grey and split.
- Fences Sprayed rather than brushed board by board — which is the only way a long fence is affordable.
- Patio covers and pergolas Overhead work, which means the underside — the part you actually look at.
- Wrought iron, gates and railings Rust taken back to sound metal first, or it comes straight back through.
- Barns, shops and metal buildings Large metal buildings, sprayed — and the fixings matter as much as the panels.
Preparation & Repair
8 services
The part that decides how long the paint lasts.
- Pressure washing The first day of every exterior job, and the reason the paint bonds at all.
- Stucco patching and crack repair Cracks cut out, patched and the texture matched — so the repair disappears instead of reading as a patch.
- Drywall repair Holes, dents and cracks filled and sanded flat before anything is painted.
- Texture matching The step that turns a repair into an invisible repair.
- Caulking and sealing Weatherproofing that happens to look tidy, not the other way round.
- Sanding and stripping Taking failing paint back to something the new coat can hold on to.
- Priming and stain blocking The coat nobody sees and everybody notices when it was skipped.
- Mildew and efflorescence treatment Treated, not just washed — both grow back through paint otherwise.
Commercial & Multifamily
10 services
Offices, apartments, HOA common areas and property management work.
- Offices and retail Worked around your hours, because a closed shop is the real cost.
- Restaurants and bars Overnight work, and a product choice that accounts for grease and cleaning.
- Apartment turnovers Between tenants, on a schedule that fits a leasing calendar. One trade, one contact, no crew to coordinate.
- Whole apartment complexes Larger multifamily work — talk to us about scale before you plan around it.
- HOA and common areas Approved colours, documented, and work timed around residents.
- Property management contracts One contact who is also the person on site — nothing gets relayed.
- Warehouses and industrial Large plain surfaces, sprayed — with the honest limit on height stated up front.
- Schools, churches and public buildings Scheduled around the building being empty — holidays, evenings, between terms.
- New construction for builders Working to a build schedule, where being late costs more than the paint.
- Tenant improvements Between tenants, on the leasing clock rather than a builder's.
What we do not do
Said plainly, so nobody wastes a phone call.
- No roofs, and no roof coating.
- Nothing that needs a lift.
- No small touch-up jobs. The smallest job we take is a room or a bathroom.
- No epoxy floors, elastomeric coatings or waterproofing.
- Small stucco and siding repairs only — not dry rot, and not replacing siding.
The paint
Sherwin-Williams. You can buy the paint yourself or have us buy it — whichever you prefer. If you want an opinion on colour, ask and you will get one.
If something fails
We come back and put it right. If something we painted fails, you call and we fix it. We do not put a number of years on that, because the point is that you can call.
